I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Fresno, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
First they call you you conduct a simple phone interview over the phone asking simple questions about you. If you "pass" they then schedule an interview in person where they give you a brief presentation on the company and how this specific branch does things. They then ask you a few questions about your background and work preferences. Overall it is very easy to pass an interview with almost no work experience. They are just looking for people willing to be in this type of non-traditional position and will take almost anyone although they prefer those in business/sales backgrounds. All you have to do is show you have drive and professionalism.
It was pretty good. I think it was great actually. So cool. It was a time I won't ever forget. How could I forget an interview that was for Farmer's insurance at this time in the world?
Yes it was okay and very interesting and had a lot of questions asked. It was time consuming and had lots to do with agent. At the same time it took a couple rounds.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Colorado Springs, CO) in Aug 2016
Interview
The interview process was very well organized and put together. We went into a conference room with lounge chairs and a TV screen. It opened with a few questions asking about me and what I knew about the company, then we moved to a slideshow presentation which talked a little about the history of the company and then talked about how to get paid and promoted, and finally closed with a few more questions about what I thought of the process, what I thought about the opportunity to work for Farmers Insurance and finally Why should we hire you as an Agent. Overall I was very happy with the entire process.
