I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FeatureMind (Brazil) in July 2025
Interview
I was invited to an interview for a Senior Software Engineer (C/C++) position. The first interview was scheduled as a 35–40 minute conversation to "discuss my experience." After introducing myself and hearing a bit about the company, the interviewer suddenly said he'd like to ask a couple of "puzzle problems" (weird).
He gave me one of those brain teaser questions. I couldn’t solve it, and honestly, I don’t think it was a fair or relevant question. The interviewer claimed it was representative of the kind of work they do there (??). He then ended the interview, saying those are the types of problems they usually deal with.
These types of questions were common in big tech interviews years ago, but most companies have ditched away those kind of questions (probably because they're not very useful to evaluate a candidate). To top it off, the interviewer didn’t even thank me for my time which I found a bit rude. Did not have the opportunity to showcase my skills.
Overall, a waste of time.
