I applied online. I interviewed at FedEx (Fargo, ND) in June 2010
Interview
Interview was conducted at 4am in the morning. Didn't think anything of it really, after all, it was merely a package handling position that I didn't plan on doing for an extended period of time. Question were relevant however, there was absolutely no need to have me come in. A simple phone interview would have worked to screen me as a candidate. Arrived at 3.50am and waited for the interviewer for another 30mins which seemed like another waste of my time. Interview was kind of a joke.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you consider yourself to be a responsible individual and why.
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
