I applied online. I interviewed at Fedcap Employment (Reading, England) in June 2022
Interview
Online , recording yourself answering questions. I think you only got to do one take though. It would have been good to be able to re record as it took some time to figure out the process.

Other Employment Adviser interview reviews for Fedcap Employment
The interview process was fairly quick and thorough. I initially had an informal conversation, followed by a scheduled interview. Both interviewers were professional. They gave me a case study to review and discussed my points, after which the interview mostly consisted of STAR-based questions. I felt confident in my responses, but apparently, they didn’t meet their "standards." I was never contacted with an outcome, and after two weeks, I had to follow up to request feedback. The feedback came via a call, not in writing, and it was somewhat ironic because I still couldn’t pinpoint where I fell short. The interviewer struggled to provide specific advice on how I could improve.

Question 1
Case study and star based questions (e.g how would you meet your KPi's -how would you deal with a difficult client and etc..)
I applied online. I interviewed at Fedcap Employment
Interview
As other reviews have stated, the interview is 3 stages
1. Telephone- random call, no time to prepare (what do you know about Fedcap etc)
2. Teams interview with 'perfomance manager' and HR employee (Concerning as they don't have experience of the role/participants)
3. Face to face interview/chat with the performance manager.
I was interested in the job until the final stage where they were very poorly prepared and solely focused on targets. The manager openly admitted to a very high turnover of staff and staff leaving due to targets (6 participants into employment per month, and if you don't hit the target it rolls over to the following month).
I read all the - reviews before and after the interview and feel that they must be true
PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING AS THE COMPANY HAS A TERRIBLE REPUTATION FOR A REASON, HIGH TURNOVER FOR A REASON, AND THE JOB DESCRIPTION IS A SCAM.
I feel sorry for the employees who thought they were doing a job to help but really, as others have stated, this is a low level recruitment role and the managers did seem inexperienced and target obsessed.
A sad waste of DWP money.
