I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Figment in June 2024
Interview
The worst of the worst!!! Never had such a bad interview experience throughout my whole career. I had NEVER left glassdoor reviews before, but this was so shocking that I had to write this.
Recruiter came late to call. Didn't apologize nor explain why he was late. Muttered something to himself about his devices not working, then immediately asked me what I knew about Figment.
Proceeded to read my resume out loud, and asked me questions but kept cutting me off before I had a chance to finish speaking. Before I even had a chance to talk about my experience (barely 10 seconds) he cut me off and said I was not a fit (though I had met all the requirements stated in the job listing, and even slightly overqualified for the role). Threw out some "technical" requirements (to me those are the very basic) that they were apparently looking for that he assumed I didn't have, but didn't give me a chance to explain myself. Makes me wonder how he was employed as a technical recruiter.
It was such an unpleasant experience that I decided not to proceed on and just thanked him for his time and ended the interview. Did some digging after and realized his a contract "technical recruiter" for Figment.
If you going to interview here, and he happens to be the one interviewing you, good luck to you. And to that recruiter, please show some basic respect for the interviewee. Fix your tone and expression when talking to candidates, they are human too!
