I applied online. I interviewed at First Option Healthcare (Colchester, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
During covid, so over the phone. Very friendly laid back interview. Focused in one package. However, didn't hear back for months, then got another call from different manager asking me to start. They needed someone to start quickly. All jobs at first option are zero hours...not permanent contract, unless you apply for management.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at First Option Healthcare (London, England) in Sept 2020
Interview
A 2 stage process first with senior clinical team.
Clinical scenarios were relevant and I learnt from the process. I was unsure of the CQC questions as I had limited experience with them.
Second stage with 3 x directors (HR, CEO, Clinical Director) was informal but I was nervous .

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at First Option Healthcare (London, England) in Mar 2021
Interview
Initial interview followed by a meeting with the CEO. Very unprofessional process would NOT recommend to anyone who is looking for a job.
Passed the initial interview with the regional manager. Received a phone call a week later officially offering me the role and was told that HR will be sending me the offer letter that week.
Two weeks later I was told the CEO wanted to meet me. I turned up to the office which was 50 minutes away, along with having to paid for parking. The CEO walked in with an air of arrogance and asked me a few basic question in regards to my CV in a very unprofessional manner. I was then told within 5 minutes that I wasted my time as my experience does not match up to the role and that the interview was complete within a 5 minute period.
The fact that the company offered me an interview, then stated that the second meeting with the CEO was ‘ a formality’ gave me a very negative view of the company.
If somebody does not have the experience for a specific role you would rather know at the initial screening process/ first interview rather than wasting a candidates time - in my case 2 hours worth of driving and £15 worth of parking tickets.
The only negative side to working for this company is the CEO himself, who doesn’t conduct himself in the right manner and to be Frank extremely rude.
Think carefully before applying for this company!!
We apologise that you did not have a pleasant experience at interview. The process is put in place to ensure that candidates are the right fit for the role that they are interviewing for. We have a responsibility to ensure that we match people correctly for the roles that they apply for.
