I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Aug 2014
Interview
Applied online, and at the moment have only had a phone interview. I'm still waiting to hear back. The process is typical for most jobs. Apply online, get a phone interview, have a face-to-face interview, wait for call back.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Initial phone interview covered my resume and general background questions. Most difficult, was why Fisher Investments.
The initial phone interview felt incredibly rushed. Despite the position being marketed as a wealth management role, it is essentially a high-volume asset-retention phone center. The day-to-day focus is simply convincing clients not to transfer their money out of the firm rather than providing actual, comprehensive wealth management or tailored financial planning services. Very misleading job description.

I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Dallas, TX) in June 2026
Interview
Overall process what a little lengthily but interview process was nothing to overly stress about. The first round was an initial screening, covering mostly the position itself and what to expect moving forward. The second-round interview did include a mock client call in which some material was provided beforehand to review.
