I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Flux[x] (London, England) in May 2021
Interview
The first interview was 30 mins with 2 members of the team. Following this, I was invited to a final interview. The final interview lasted 90 mins. I was asked to present back a task I had prepared and then discuss my previous experience for the rest of the time. Overall the interview experience was very disappointing. I was really excited for my interview as I thought Flux marketed itself as a relaxed and progressive company. Turns out it is just marketing. From my experience I found them to be disinterested and conceited. The interviewer asked me questions not related to the role I had applied for and seemed uninterested in my answers. Communication was poor; I heard nothing for 2 weeks after my final interview and received no feedback. I was also told I would suit a more 'junior' role (even with over 5 years of experience). All-round pretty insulting and uncomfortable experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Flux[x] (London, England) in July 2021
Interview
The process took around a month in total and consisted of two interviews, both of which were virtual due to social distancing restrictions. My first interview was with a Consultant and the Head of HR, focusing on competency-based questions, e.g. managing client expectations, dealing with difficult stakeholders, etc. My second was with a Partner and a Senior Consultant and involved delivering a pre-set task. Overall it was a very positive experience - Fluxx is a great company that cares about its people, which came across in both interviews. Now that I am an employee, I would highly recommend them as an employer.
