I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Food Lion (Red Springs, NC) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview process was pretty simple. The hardest part was actually getting the interview. I had to continue asking about the job. I believe that was what helped make my managers decision because of my persistence and determination. Once I received my interview and it was through, I was hired on the spot. It was easy and not hard for me to complete.

Managers were very organized and down to earth. Very easy to talk to, friendly, and kind. Offered to give plenty of help on the job whenever I would start. We talked casually, so it took a lot of the pressure off of the prospect of interviewing, especially because I don't have a lot of interview experience.
Interview at Food Lion felt friendly, fast paced, professional; I highlighted reliability, teamwork, customer service, flexibility, availability, eagerness, learning, and retail experience during questions about shifts schedules growth goals culture
