I applied through other source. The process took a year or more. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company
Interview
I applied for the job opening positions over four years ago at the The Cabinet For Workforce Development Center. Evidently, Ford receives some additional revenue in the form of tax rebates/incentives to hire out of work, or unemployed workers. Once applying, it took three or more months to receive a response by mail, then I received a phone call 4 weeks later to attend an aptitude test which took 7 hours to complete. After another 3 months, I received a letter that I was eligible to be hired. 2 months passed then a phone call to submit to a drug test. After all was said and done, it took nearly a year to start working.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 11 months. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Louisville, KY) in May 2012
Interview
The hiring process for me personally took close to a year. It began with submitting an application. I heard back a few months later and was called in to take a written test. After I took the test, it would be another four months or so before I got another call. This time, it was to have my picture taken for my badge and to take a physical and drug screening. I was finally hired on a month and a half later.
