I applied online. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI) in Feb 2020
Interview
I applied online and got a response a month or two later. A phone screening was followed by a panel interview at the Ford talent center. Everyone working there was polite and helpful and the panel made you feel at ease.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Many questions were behavioral using the STAR method for responses, some were technical (how you use specific skills to approach specific problems), and then there was time for conversation afterward.
Interview process was extremely long and drawn out, with three rounds of interviewing. The final interview was two hours long in person - with three separate groups simultaneously. The whole process took four months to complete.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company
Interview
Had initial interview, deviated from the typical STAR process. Was told after my first interview that the team would be intouch to schedule the group interview, than never heard back.

Why did are you looking to leave your current role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Melbourne)
Interview
An HR representative reached out to me via phone to schedule the interview. It was in-person and consisted of a very structured set of questions assessing both personal experience and skills relevant to the role. The process only consisted of one phone call to arrange a time, and one interview; very straightforward.
I was not offered the position, but they gave helpful feedback about the interview.

Question 1
They asked about navigating complexity in team and inter-team environments; how to approach somebody who does not want to be compliant with you. (Not an uncommon situation for this type of role.)
