After talking to recruiter my interview was scheduled in a week time. It was a face to face interview in Ford Talent Center - Allen Part. There were 3 interviewers and scheduled duration was hour and half. But it lasted till 2 hours. It was the most organized interview I ever had in my career. One of the interviewer briefed me on interview pattern at the beginning. Interviewers were very well prepared and they had 10 questions with them. There were 5 technical and 5 behavioral questions on project management. They set the expectations at the beginning and were expecting me to answer using Situation Task Action and Result (STAR) method. They were fine if I repeat the situations for multiple questions. Questions were long so they allowed me to write down questions and gave me enough time to understand it. Another way of showing the professional courtesy and put me in a comfort zone. After a while I realize that they were also looking for PMP terminology while answering the questions. Over all I had a positive experience with recruiter, point of contact and interviewers. I enjoyed overall interview experience. Recommendation: While preparing PM interview, I got some discouragement for using the PMP terminologies, but I feel at Ford they look for an experience as well as theoretical knowledge.

Poor experience. Recruiting interview was via Teams on camera. Interview wasn’t structure and the recruiter wasn’t organized and came off unprofessional. She also wore a pink sweatshirt for the interview.
