Founda interview questions

Applied online in December, ended up having a short interview toward end of Jan. The person from HR I spoke to was friendly, however very fresh to the company (therefore with limited experience and knowledge about the firm). The questions were not very deep or challenging which is fine for a first get-to-know meeting. It seemed a little chaotic regardless. I received an automatically generated email with a negative response, no indication of why they do not want to continue

The recruiter interview went very well. I was quite hopeful for a hiring manager interview. The next day I received an email that someone one else was being hired for the role.
