I applied for the Information Security Engineer II position, after about a month I got an emailing stating that I "piqued" their interest. I responded to their request for times for an interview on a Wednesday and didn't hear back at all that week. The following Monday I followed up with a new set of dates for the interview, which I finally heard back. The manager claimed that my email went to quarantine and didn't see it, while I don't want to call him a liar, it's really hard to believe that it got quarantined due to the fact it was sent from a Gmail account that has been active for decades and no links or anything inside of the email. Once we settled on a date, the interview wasn't really anything special, your basic google interview questions. There were 3 people from the Four Winds team on the interview, which from what I gather from their in-between talking, that was their whole team. The manager had also mentioned a few times that they had a mass exodus of their team so that was a little concerning. Their "technical" side of the interview were very generic questions like "What's the difference between HTTPS, SSL, and TLS" so that was a bit of a disappointment but I don't think they have the skill set to set up, secure, and actually leverage something like that. While they were interviewing me I was also trying to get a feel of what they might know, which again unfortunately, didn't seem like a lot. I had mentioned some common tools used in the industry and there were blank stares.
