Fox Studios interview questions

Firstly it was the phone interview followed by the actual Interview with director which all went really well. I was told that i wont be moved furthur in process as I dont have enough experience in field (6 years of relevant experience) and have bene rejected for the position even though interview went really well. 2 weeks later i got a call from recruiter asking if I am still interested in the position but as a Data Scientist and a lower pay and would like to move further . It was a weird situation for me and i went ahead with the next step of interview which was basically take away project on their data. I was given 3 days to complete it . I finished it before deadline passed it through multiple channels and confirmed the accuracy and even trained the model multiple times to achieve results more than what they asked for . I gave clear instructions on every step in the file as well. After my submission a few days passed by and i never heard back from them , upon reaching out I was told the file had runtime errors along with other minor errors . and upon asking if they added the right path name in the code ,she had no clue about that . Its very obvious code pulls out files from local environment and i even gave humble instructions with submissions but if the file is not there or the path is wrong there will be errors. I was told that they wont move forward with me and upon requesting another meeting or clarity despite my hard work i was ghosted . To me it seemed like they had a deadline and no one to finish that project and used me and abused the platform of interviewing to get their work done . This was the most horrible and weirdest interview experience I ever had . Definitely never applying to a firm like that . Dodged a bullet
