I participated in a phone interview for a Lead Product Manager role. The structure of the interview made it challenging to have an open, two-way conversation. I was asked several pointed questions about my CV, which left limited time to discuss my experience or learn about the role or the company culture. When I tried to ask questions about the role, the interviewer ended the call abruptly. As a result, I didn’t feel it was the right fit for me and decided not to continue with the process. I advise other candidates to research the company to make sure it's the right fit for their needs.
