I applied online. I interviewed at Fujitsu (Manila, Manila) in June 2021
Interview
A recruiter called me one afternoon that they received my application through LinkedIn. I entertained the call and was told to provide some background information about myself and my work experience. After that, the recruiter told me that she will send an aptitude and personality test for me to answer. I submitted it promptly and about an hour later, I received a rejection letter stating that the position is no longer available.
It was so weird to get a call from a recruiter for a position and then eventually be told just a few hours later that the position is no longer available. I sent the recruiter an email asking if I was rejected solely on the basis of the personality test. So far, no response.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Aptitude and Personality Test. A very basic test about rating yourself about various situations from 1 to 5. (ex. Do you talk to different people at parties.)
The interview process started with an initial screening call, where I was asked about my background, experience, and interest in the role. Following that, I had a more in-depth interview with the hiring manager, which focused on both my technical skills and how I approach problem-solving. There were also some behavioral questions where I gave examples of past experiences.
The final stage involved a panel interview, where I met with several team members and discussed how I would handle real work scenarios. Overall, the process was well-structured and gave me a good understanding of the role and the company expectations.
