Interview
Everything organized by executive search company. I was initially interview by top executive search company - 3 hours interview with classical element of personality check which really tends to be boring after you've been screened in a similar way before. The technical qualifications checks were specifically intensive and thorough and this part really only the true candidates could pass. After background check with 3 references (phone conversation and mail) I was invited for the second round to confirm my interest for a specific position and a less time consuming interview where they defined that I will be informed within a week whether I have passed into the final round - 1:1 interview with the Head of HR for SE Europe. I made it to the final round, even though I announced that I already have an alternative job offer. On the final interview (I was told that I was the only candidate they have chosen) I was basically offered the position but I declined as the position offered was rather undefined in terms of job description and bonus schema in comparison to initial description. Basic comment: inexperienced HR Manager - bad body language and gestures, after a few basic questions from my side, I was able to read - issues in office team work, correlation of activities and that they most likely are in process of reorganizing the office due to inefficiency - thus the position opened up.
