As everyone else has stated here, it was quite tedious. But I completed it, and got an offer. I did the background check, the drug test, and now that it is two weeks before my start date, I gave my employer my 2 weeks notice. Next, I received a call that they were terminating my offer because of my MVR. They are not giving me the job anymore because I had two speeding tickets when I was in college. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why offer this position to college students if you want a perfect candidate who has never made a simple mistake? I could understand if I had a DUI, or a suspended license, or reckless driving. Speeding ticket took my position. The background check company gave me a hard time during the entire process. Literally. You guys turned down a great candidate with a good GPA, good interview, passed all of the tests and everything, passed the background check, good references, and two weeks before time to resume I get a call from HR in Dallas saying that they are longer offering the position? All I can say is they missed out on a great candidate. I just finished college, and I am ready to get into the workforce. I went from having a job and getting a better one, to now I am unemployed. I will never waste my time applying for GEICO again. That is so ridiculous.
