I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO (Houston, TX) in Feb 2020
Interview
The interview process is tedious to say, but you can get through it. First their is a brief skills and personality assessment, then video recording interview, then brief phone interview, then role play (it is absolutely intense), and then the final management Panel interview.
The role play guys- it is literally you doing the job. Pay attention to detail and always remain professional and provide great customer service. They know you are going to mess up and they know its hard, but trust me they are very forgiving as long as you PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS, so relax.
The panel interview is a lot more relaxed and the managers do not interrogate you. They talk about the position and try to get to know you and ask some basic interview questions.

Question 1
Why geico? Why should we pick you? Explain a time you went above and beyond for a customer.
Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in July 2025
Interview
applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

Interview
I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
