I had applied online through Indeed.com. I received an email from them two days later, requesting that I come in and take a test. The location can be a bit of a hassle to get to if you don't have your own means of transportation, since only one bus goes by, and it stops at around 7pm. The building was neat and clean; the people friendly and courteous. Make sure you have your I.D. ready; you will be given a pass to enter the inner offices. I was seated in an area where there was a video playing, giving candidates a more in-depth look at the company and the different positions. You will be asked to sign some papers, and fill out a little information. Next, you and your group will be lead into the testing area. The test basically tests you on your typing skills, and data entry under pressure. Afterwards, your are led back to the previous area. Some people were called into an office, where I'm pretty sure they were told they didn't pass; as they left right after. Soon, a gentleman let those of us remaining know that we had passed and would be given appointments for a phone interview later on in the week.
For the phone interview, make sure you sound preppy and happy! They'll ask you why do you want to work for Geico, about your previous employment, and what would make you a good choice. They'll go into an in-depth inquiry about your past work history, so if you need to, make sure you have your resume handy! They'll be typing in your replies as you answer.
