I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks.I interviewed at GQR Global Markets (New York, NY)
Interview
Pretty standard - a recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin. Then I spoke to a VP level, thats more so a open conversation about what you want and your past work, then had an on site interview in the New York office.

Interview
They told me that new employees get three months without a threshold. However, on month 1 I had to clear over $20k which then rolls month by month. The threshold is aggressive.

Application
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks.I interviewed at GQR Global Markets (New York, NY) in 01/04/2023
Interview
They contacted me and said they liked my profile and my previous experience. They then proceeded to induct me into 'interview prep' for the job which I found strange for a company to do in the first place. Then they declined me after the third round and said I wasn't a good fit (even though THEY approached me, slid in my DMs and invited me to interview for the position (reverse psychology?)). Overall just confusing and weird experience and I would recommend not wasting your time.

Question 1
Question: A very general question about recruitment marketing so general I don't remember what was asked.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GQR Global Markets
Interview
It was pretty standard. I didn’t go past phone screen but I was told the next step would be speaking with one of their team managers via video chat and it was left vague after that.

Interview
About 25 min, was pushy about the call being on a certain day, seemed a little intense, girl didn't seem too interested in me, talked a lot about the company trip incentives

Why do you want to go into recruiting

Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks.I interviewed at GQR Global Markets (New York, NY) in 01/02/2023
Interview
Very long, 3 phases, and a powerpoint session that requires so much work. Not worth it for the role itself. I had a great relationship with the recruiter, but they definitely upsell the job and the culture. Read reviews before joining any company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to create a 15 minute power point presentation. A lot about what I have done and accomplished. It was very unnecessary. They make it seem like a very professional environment, but after reading reviews about work culture, realized it is a classic recruiting mill. Hiring and firing talent left and right and unethical work place policies and practices.

I only completed the first two rounds, but interviewing was easy. The initial phone call was mostly informational about the types of recruiting they do and the available roles. Then they asked about my current work, how I manage recruiting, my usual requisition load, and expected compensation. They also asked which area of recruiting that they offer would I be most interested in.
