I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Gap (Edina, MN) in Dec 2013
Interview
The interview was taken in a group of four, interviewing for a seasonal position of sales associate. the group was asked questions about previous work experience as well as how to handle potential situations one might encounter through out the work day. the interviewing party was very helpful in communicating the type of responses and employees they were looking for. at the end of the interview we were told that we would get a call back in a few days which we did and they discussed availability and set up a time to come in and sign paperwork and begin orientation.

Question 1
What was one thing that your previous employer wanted you to do differently?
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
