I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Providence, RI) in June 2013
Interview
The interview process was in a group form, with three other qualifiers with an adequate amount of general questions. The interview was early morning before the store/mall opened. Overall, the interview itself was about half and hr - and the time afterwards before hearing from someone was about two weeks.
