I submitted an online profile at the Gap website for the Technical Design internship for summer 2009 in New York, NY. I was contacted by the HR associate and was invited for an interview at Gap PRoduct Design and Development. I met with two representatives from HR who wanted to see portfolio examples, and learn more about my design background. I was then invited back for an interview with the hiring manager and during the interview I met the team. My manager was great--i feel like a peer during my interview and comfortable with the work environment.
