I applied online. I interviewed at Generac (Trenton, SC) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple interview, 3 parts, 2 phone screens, one with recruiter, one with hiring manager, then a final interview which is either in person or on teams. This interview is separated in 3 parts, one behavioral, one technical and the other just to get a feel of your personality. Thought I did very well on the interview but got rejected maybe because I am an international student.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask very general questions about the technical part but in terms of behavioral they ask regular what would you do if questions.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Generac (Waukesha, WI)
Interview
The interview was a bait and switch. They brought me in for one position but it became obvious it was for a position that was beneath the one I currently held.
Also the VP of HRs phone kept going off with the fantasy football ding. He apologized but don’t bother to silence his phone, even after the third time.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Generac (Reno, NV) in Jan 2025
Interview
It started with a quick phone call with HR. She then sent me a timed Mechanical Aptitude test to complete and send back. I didn't make it to the next round of the interview process.
