1. Applied the position via GM website. 2. A week later I got an email from recruiter wanting to discuss the position. She just basically ran through my resume and asking standard questions like, "Would you need sponsorship" "Are you authorized to work in the US" "How many year of experience of [insert skills]" Next she said she will send me a link for Hirevue assessment and I have 48 hours to complete. 3. Submitted Hirevue before the deadline. 3 questions related to the position. 4. The next day I received an email for video interview via Teams scheduled 3 days in advance. The interview is separated into 2 groups (2 managers each group, 60 mins each). Asked me to respond if day/time is not suitable. 5. Interview is pure behavioral. Make sure you have a lot of examples. There's a few occasions when I gave example for a question and they asked me if I have any other example instead. Each group will ask you approximately 8 questions. 6. I didn't hear back from recruiter or anybody else until I called the recruiter on day 12 post interview asking for feedback. 7. I received a call back few hours later with the offer.

If you are interviewing for a job at General Motors they use STAR questions in the interview. They will ask a question and you have to give them a situation where you completed a task including the actions you took and then provide the results. I had not been interviewed using this method before so it through me off guard at first.
