I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Foster City, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
I was contacted by a third party recruiter and later interviewed with Gilead Hr recruiter followed by the hiring manager and later flown out to meet multiple people with different levels. Can be a very challenging interview process with so many people but they were all nice and very personable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain step by step on how you applied a strategic recommendation to the business and outline your tactical approach?
This was a fairly solid interview process. The interview team was quick and organized with clear questions and a process that makes sense. I also had the ability to counter offer.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences in Mar 2025
Interview
3 rounds of Interviews and then got ghosted by recruiter. Mailed 3 times, and no response. You kinda get your hopes up if interviews go very well and it is your top choice career wise. And then they ghost you for a month and still no rejection, nor acceptance. Disappointed

Interview
There were 2 HR screenings and 7 interviews with the team along with the hiring manager. Met the majority of the team and did multiple 30 minute interviews. Very passionate and welcoming team. Not a stressful interview environment.
