I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Sacramento, CA)
Interview
Really positive interview process! I met for about 30 min with the manager of the department I would be working in. Really kind person who explained the internship well and the soft skills that would make a great intern. Was offered the internship a few days later. Best interview process I’ve ever gone through. Incredibly low stress.
First round: Phone call with recruiter
Final round: Zoom interview with hiring manager of team. Asked standard behavioral questions, as well as about your thought process would tackle team-specific issues

I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Foster City, CA)
Interview
Overall, the interview process was pretty standard at around 30 minutes and a few interviews with various team members. Not all of the team members were in the same team.
Very relaxed talking, and they're not asking very hard questions. Be prepared with your skills and future plans. It doesn't have to be too stressful. They are all very nice interviewers.
