I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Probably the slowest, worst interview experience I've ever had in two decades of my career. Took about 5 weeks from first interview with hiring manager to offer. In between, slow to move with full panel interview. Then I was scheduled with a team in the wrong therapeutic area (an error I caught). Delayed another week. Finally scheduled with a very small number of people to talk to.
Each interview was simply rapid fire standard interview type questions. I had no sense of what it would be like to work there or with the person who would be my supervisor, as I had maybe 3 minutes in each for questions/conversation.
I probably would have declined anyway, but salary was only discussed at the time of the offer and it was low and out of range for my experience and specific TA experience. Had to wait two days for the written offer after the verbal offer.
The entire experience was disorganized and less than professional.

Interview
Interview-based with a presentation of previous work. Interview happened in stages and for 1 I had to present relevant work to a team and take questions on it. I had interviewed for a similar job before and the process was identical. This time, the hiring manager reached out to me

Interview
I applied online. I received an email for an interview within a week. I spoke to the recruiter and hiring manager. The interview with the recruiter was very standard. It was mostly to verify experience. The interview with the hiring manager was odd. The hiring manager’s questions were too specific and it wasn’t clear was he was looking for.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (London, England)
Interview
I had 12 different interviews, scheduling was very organized and clear. Process was intense (couple of weeks) but it worked well. Questions were generic with some small talk, not super formal, which made it easier.
