Interview
HR called me after finding my resume from a job portal and then they arranged F2F interview at Pune office within 2 days. Office atmosphere was nice. No real challenging technical questions asked. They really look for *more management* skills rather than technical skills (Their JD does not reflect this?!). Basic aptitude question from CBSE 9th grade mathematics was asked, though I answered it...I felt it is an inappropriate question for this position. Finally, they asked about my salary expectation for which I gave a range which was just -5% to +5% of my current salary...as salary was not my prime criteria. Overall, it was a below-par interview considering the importance of the role, responsibilities based on the questions asked. I did not regret losing this job when they promptly replied the next day that I was not shortlisted. I always treat interview as a chance to gauge the knowledge of my 'future' senior/boss, culture of company, current & future plans/road maps of the company/team. That is one of the factor for me to take a right decision.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Globant (Pune) in June 2016
Interview
Telephonic round in context to technical and project / people management. Most of the questions were directly related to the role requirements and objective. Two way interaction made it more of comfortable discussion rather than question and answer session. Seems Globant follows a simple process of telephonic and then face to face to close it. HR Team was quick to respond and responsible too.
