Good experience overall but process was quick. Met with all of the principals and had plenty of opportunity to ask a lot of questions. Beautiful office space and people seemed nice.

It was a pretty smooth process and I had some great conversations with the partners and owner. I got good vibes from everyone and had an overall very pleasant experience.
Phone interview and in person meeting went well, but then they acted very strangely - asked if I had anything to hide, asked for list of references, and then followed up by contacting people not on my references list. Seems like an HR problem
Sorry to hear about your experience. In our interviews, we always strive to ask only HR complaint questions. What you described doesn't sound like our culture. We apologize if someone asked you this question. As for refences, we usually follow up with ones given to us. Sometimes we know past employees or principals and reach out to those as well.
