The interview itself was great. I spent 45 minutes to an hour discussing detailed examples of my past work history, focusing on how the procedures used in the past mimic the procedures used at Groupon. However, while the interview with a recruiter went great, it was the follow up that was disappointing. I was told they would let me know within a week whether I would be asked to come in for a second, in-person, interview. It took 4 weeks, plus several calls and emails to the recruiter (all unreturned until the end), before I was told they were looking for a bit more experience. What was a bit more concerning, is that a week after the interview, the recruiter's LinkedIn profile was updated for a new job at a new company, thus making me wonder whether I got the true consideration an applicant would expect.
