Basically this was an unpaid consultant hour where they went deep into the weeds on metrics they aren't currently looking at. A lot of good questions and a promise that they'd follow up; didn't, despite my outreach on a couple of occasions. A month later, a form letter turndown, and a month after that, they reposted the job. These people waste your time. Don't reward that behavior.
