Submitted application, within 5 days got an email to say talent team have screened application and have progressed you to a hiring manager. Another 5 days got a call to arrange a fit call with Talent director and hiring manager which was great informal chat over zoom both interviewers were knowledgeable, friendly , professional and I felt very excited after the call. Then 5 days later got a call from the talent director asking me for feedback (which is a first) I loved the feedback culture I was seeing and it turned out their feedback was similar to mine and they wanted to progress me. Final stage was two tasks which they gave me ample time to complete and submit the day before I went on site for interview. Final interview was with the hiring manager and their boss to present tasks and answer questions they also made time for my questions as they had done on zoom call. What I really liked about the interview was they gave me live feedback on tasks and it was very conversational even when they were asking me competency questions. I then got a tour and a coffee chat with one of the people team which was a nice touch. The day after I got a courtesy call from the talent director again asking for my feedback (which again what a surprise, I’m really impressed with their willingness to gain feedback themselves) and then 2 days later I was offered the job. Frankly if I hadn’t have been offered I still would be writing this because the process was simple, well executed (they did what they said they would in terms of updates and next steps) and I was left wowed and still thinking highly or perhaps even more so of the brand. Congratulations for doing what most other consumer facing businesses fail to do in their recruitment processes… you protected your EVP snd strengthened your brand!
