Interview
Basically you need to email them and be contacted if they are interested in you. The ceo of harrisco directly contacted you through the email.
You need to wait for at least three weeks to be selected from them.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HARRISCO (Ŭijŏngbu) in Mar 2015
Interview
An online exam of proofreading skill was required, one on one interview, I also did a temporary grading, scoring job that got my foot in the door. The CEO could judge my work ethic that way.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at HARRISCO (Seoul) in Oct 2015
Interview
I responded to the job ad with my CV. I had a reply from the CEO hours later saying they were very keen to work with me because I had a PhD. He asked me to edit a test paper, which he said was to their standard. We met in a cafe the next day& he instantly started taking about the visa process, accommodation and the contract. He wanted me to work on an E2 teaching visa which would be illegal. He said the process for the correct E7 visa was too complex. He also wanted to pay me through my UK bank account, and not my Korean one. After meeting I was due to visit their office the following Monday. I had questioned the visa, and mentioned that the legally required medical insurance & pension contributions were missing from the contract. He said not to worry.
On the day, I had to delay the office meeting due to food poisoning. His reply was, 'don't come, we decided not to work with you.'
This company has many bad reviews for other similar reasons. They do not normally hire people resident in Korea, they work via email with people in their home countries. And they apparently never pay!
