My interview experience with HUB International was delightful. After initial contact I met by telephone with a member of the in-house talent acquisition team who inquired about my experience, my career goals and desired work environment, as well as my knowledge about the organization. Next I met virtually with the hiring director and again experienced a delightful exchange discussing more detail about the position, types of clients, company philosophy and risk control model, as well as my background and experience including specific scenarios relative to the position. Finally, I met virtually with the department VP and again experienced a delightful and down-to-earth leader who takes the work we do seriously, but also recognizes the humanity of employees. Overall I felt a sense of the focus on productivity and accountability in the job, but not at the expense of driving employees to the point of burn-out by setting them up for failure. The interview process felt like a breath of fresh air! Lastly, I worked with another member of the talent acquisition team to negotiate my acceptance of an offer.

Interview process was thorough, giving me the opportunity to meet a number of different stakeholders across the organization. I learned a lot about the strategy and culture of Hub which helped to inform my decision to join the organization.
