Interview
Hospitality Designs uses an outside recruitment agency to vet potential hires. The agency helped identify the opportunity before I applied. The interview process:
- First Interview with the VP Sales. Directed questions about my sales experiences, Sales knowledge, Number of calls per day, follow-up, funnel building, and negotiation skills
- On Line assessment sent which took almost an hour to complete
- Second interview with business owner who inquired about my view on culture, goals, and passions
- An offer was received from the recruiter
- contract received from recruiter

Question 1
What was my contribution to the culture at my previous employment?
At Hospitality Designs we expect our Project Managers to pick up the phone a minimum of 30 times in an 8 hour day. That is 4 calls per hour. This insures we stay in touch with our customer base. If a Project Manager cannot make 4 calls (1 minute each) in an hour my hope is that the $1,000 penalty induces them to find more appropriate employment elsewhere. As for 'double dipping', numbers are numbers. These numbers were verified by Employment Standards in this employees case. There were no errors on our part.
