Recruiter reached out to me and invited me to the application process. Recruiter was responsive and transparent throughout, great experience! However, the hiring experience with the organization got worse with every week: 1. Recruiter call: all good, except for the fact that job listing didn't exist yet. But the role was explained well enough that I was interested. 2. Call with one of the hiring managers: Talked for 1 hour, all good, but was then told that this doesn't count as interview round. 3. Call with peer: Talked for 1 hour, including 1 live case study that did not align with the job description. 4. Call with another hiring manager: Talked for 45 minutes, including 1 live case study (again?), didn't have time for my questions, so the hiring manager suggested to address them in another quick call the next day. 5. Call with same hiring manager: Was supposed to be a quick call to address *my* questions, but ended up to be a 30mins call and mainly them asking a series of more behavioral questions. 6. Received case study to solve over the weekend plus 2 days. Took 3 days to complete with going through the several documents sent, processing and cleaning the data set, performing data analysis, performing alternative data analysis, creating presentation with findings and recommendations. 7. Silence. After reaching out to the recruiter several times, finally heard back that they will not proceed due to a lack in data understanding. Asked for clarification as I spent a lot of time doing the case study's analysis and have a specialisation in data analytics. Then another response: "Oh, the case study was fine, it's just that we want to go in a different direction with this position and focus on Sales." Hence, the feedback was not true and they just wasted my time and energy. Conclusion: Do not apply unless they are able to provide a fully fledged job listing and it is clear that the job will actually exist. Be prepared to go through as many interview stages as you would for the Big Four Tech companies--with the downside that it is not one of those.
