I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Humana (Louisville, KY) in Oct 2020
Interview
This technical interview was straight and to the point- it lasted for about an hour. The architects who were on the call could assess my skill set by asking relevant questions and giving me a short coding exercise. No BS. Most of what was asked was around APIs, security concerns, interactions between API and UI, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at Humana (Richmond, VA) in Mar 2022
Interview
1.) Applied directly on website
2.) Voice recorded HR interview through ModernHire
3.) HR called in 4 days and setup technical panel interview. HR did not talk anything else just schedule.
4.) Interview Panel - 3 people with - Mgr and two senior SE
Interview seemed easy very friendly, but they did not ask any in-depth questions but it was hard to gauge what they want.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Humana (New York, NY) in Nov 2021
Interview
Initial screen from internal recruiter, then panel interview on video call. I was told two other teams were interested so I did three different panel calls. I was told I needed to have my camera on but across all three calls only one person on their side did. One person out of nine. The last call was with four faceless people while the spotlight was on me. It was cold and impersonal. Ghosted from all three positions was the icing on the cake. Someone needs to inform Humana about the current market.
