I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (Provo, UT) in Oct 2015
Interview
A group of consultants and analysts visited my campus, and invited about 10 students to a meet and greet dinner, with interviews taking place the next day. The initial interview is a case study taking about 45 minutes to an hour. They ask some of the basic interview questions but a majority of the time is spent doing the case study. They say they are open to all majors but it seemed to me that only people with extensive SQL experience were being considered. I have limited experience and therefore did not move forward in the interview process. Overall, they seemed kind and genuine.

Question 1
Are you comfortable spending around 80% of your time checking and running code?
I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (Chicago, IL)
Interview
A few interviews with a business case. They had an intro call and then multiple calls with experienced consultants. The HR contact stayed in contact the entire interview process. It was a fair interview process
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huron Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Nov 2025
Interview
I had an initial call with the recruiter that was very behavioral, focusing on questions like why consulting and an overview of the recruitment process. After that, I completed a case interview. The case itself was relatively straightforward, but I didn’t perform as well as I should have. I ultimately did not receive a callback for the final round, which is reportedly another behavioral interview.
Three interviews. First a case interview. Then two behavioral interviews. The process took around 2 to 3 weeks total. Very conversational. Everyone was nice. Coordinator and recruiter helped lead me through the process.
