5oz glass =A, 3oz glass = B. Fill up A, and pour into B. You'll have 2oz left in A. Drain B, pour that 2oz in B. Fill up A again, and pour to fill that remaining 1oz in B. You'll have 5oz-1oz =4oz in A.
