I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Memphis, TN) in July 2018
Interview
I applied on Friday, July 13th online through ikea.com. I recieved an email the following Monday, July 16th about setting up a phone interview. I was called Wednesday the 18th and had a 15 minute call where I was asked about scenarios in my past employement and what made me interested in the job. At the end of the phone call, I was informed that it went well and they would like to have a face-to-face interview which happened a week later, July 25th. On July 26th, I recieved a phone call from the same person offering me the job. I took my drug test on July 27th, and I start August 6th. It was very smooth and easy.

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Costa Mesa, CA) in June 2018
Interview
After I applied online, I received an email 1 1/2 week later to schedule for a phone interview. I passed and was scheduled for an interview with the restaurant manager. The interview took about 30 minutes but she spent half the time explaining about the position and the restaurant. She was very friendly and tried to make me feel comfortable so that we could have more of a conversation. It was one of the few pleasant interviews I've ever had. Some questions were common basic ones and a few were tough. I think what they were looking for the most is someone who will stay with company for at least 50 years. After the interview, it took 1 month for the recruiter to email me that I didn't get the job.
