I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at IKEA (Draper, UT) in Jan 2019
Interview
Very efficient, quick and friendly process. Ikea had a hiring event that I found through a Google search of jobs in the city I lived in. I literally finished my shift at my current job and I headed for the Draper Ikea location, waited in line for about 15 minutes, as there were many people in line waiting for an interview. They did a very quick intake process for information and told me to wait for an interview. I waiting maybe 10 minutes, I did an interview of approximately 15 minutes and I felt confident I was going to get the job. I looked around and noticed I was the only one that I could visibly see at the hiring event in "warehouse" clothes and a baseball cap, since I did come to the event straight from my job and the Ikea staff NEVER made me feel like I was being judged, as I have never showed up to any interview looking the way I did. I am pretty sure that's what made me feel extremely comfortable during my interview process.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IKEA (Orlando, FL) in July 2022
Interview
Very professional , easy going made me feel comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, I would say the interview has been one of the easiest I’ve been to by far. They had about 4 to 6 questions based on your previous experience and in certain situations but nothing out of the norm. I would recommend to anyone seems like a great company.
