I applied online. I interviewed at IKEA (Chandler, AZ)
Interview
I applied for the position via Indeed.com and received an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was a very impersonal almost robotic interaction. The woman interviewing me was very brief and had zero interest in expanding on questions or on my answers. After i answered each question she immediately asked another question - there was absolutely no natural flow of conversation which is very unlike any interview I have ever experienced. Lastly, when I asked her what qualities she felt the ideal candidate would possess she gave a very generic response, almost as if she didn’t know which position she was interviewing me for. If you’ve been in the workforce for a long time, and you’ve interviewed with smaller companies and non-profits, this initial interview might be uncomfortable for you. My advice is to give specific and basic answers!

I applied through university. I interviewed at IKEA (Bengaluru) in June 2026
Interview
It was an exclusive interview with people invited from two colleges. The number of applicants was over 25. We had basic introductions, a GD and an interview afterwards. My interviewers were polite though same was not the case for other people.
