I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at IKEA (Stoughton, MA) in July 2011
Interview
The first step is online application. Then a call from an HR rep in a call center, who quoted a potential salary that ended up being way more than what the job was actually going to pay. At the end of the phone conversation, I was offered an interview appointment. Then an in-person interview. The interview itself was very quick, and involved 2 different sales managers and an HR rep. A cheek-swab drug test was administered on the spot. The position was for temporary Back-to-College staffing, with potential for permanent. I was offered the position at the close of the interview and scheduled for a group orientation session the following week.
