I applied through university. I interviewed at IXL Learning (San Mateo, CA) in Sept 2012
Interview
Interview process consisted of 2 phone interviews and one on-site interview. Interviews went relatively well, and people were mostly nice. It may be worth noting that most interviewers may have had the same impression, so it may be hard to gauge whether you are going to get an offer. At the end, you may have done well, but another candidate may have done slightly better. Still, I think the experience was quite positive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No particularly hard questions, although I was given a piece of code to review. Questions will probably be about linked lists, hashes, and binary trees. I was also given a piece of code to review. Take your time, and always think about performance and reusability.
