I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Icebreaker (Christchurch, Canterbury) in Apr 2017
Interview
First had to go to a group interview at the store. There was about 15-18 people there for two positions. There was a nice spread of snacks as well as white and red wine. The slide show was interesting and the presenter was engaging and friendly. Then after that, a couple days later, I had a phone interview. Then a skype interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Icebreaker (Vancouver, BC) in June 2023
Interview
Received a phone call from the store manager to schedule an in-person interview.
The interview was done in-store, basically going through past (retail) experience and had several role-specific questions.
Manager in that specific branch tends to hire more keyholders than sales associates; if you're an experienced retail worker it's likely to be offered a keyholder role if they're also looking.
