My interview experience was a bit disappointing. While the interview went smoothly and I completed an Excel test, there were some challenges when it came to finalizing the offer. They requested I resign from my current job before providing the offer letter, which I found unconventional. Despite my assurance that I wouldn't use the offer as leverage, they eventually provided it. However, upon reviewing the terms, I discovered policies like insufficient PTOs and the absence of PF, which didn't align with my expectations. Upon declining, their response was less than pleasant, and they also mentioned that I was obligated to accept the offer upon receiving it, which felt unfamiliar to me. I believe accepting an offer should be based on personal consideration of the terms and conditions. Nonetheless, they deemed my approach unprofessional. Overall, it was a learning experience for me.
