      Senior Marketing Manager Interview

      15 July 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bangalore Rural
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Idexcel (Bangalore Rural) in June 2025

      Interview

Shockingly Unprofessional – Ghosted After 4 Rounds Without Basic Courtesy Review: This was by far one of the most unprofessional interview experiences I’ve encountered in 14 years of my career. I went through four rounds of interviews investing hours of preparation, discussions, and even final negotiations on compensation and joining timelines. Despite all this, the company did not have the basic decency or courage to communicate a clear decision. They simply chose to ghost me entirely. No rejection, no feedback, no explanation—just silence. For a company that claims to value talent and professionalism, this is unacceptable and frankly insulting to senior candidates. It shows a complete lack of respect for people's time and careers. If this is how they treat experienced professionals during hiring, I can only imagine how poorly they value employees internally. I strongly advise other senior candidates to think twice before wasting their time here. A professional process requires at minimum a clear yes or no. Ghosting after 4 rounds is not only lazy—it’s disrespectful, arrogant, and a clear red flag about the organization's culture and values.
